Winter Concert DATE CHANGE!!

The Instrumental Winter Concert has a date and venue change.

The Bands, Orchestra, Guitar and Rock Band Classes, Center Band, and After-School of Rock will perform their Winter Concert music on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1 at Roberto Clemente Middle School.

(this is a change from Wed., Dec. 2 at Northwest HS)

No Center Band rehearsal Wed, 10/7

After-School Center Band has been cancelled Wednesday, Oct. 7 due to the Center Field Trip to Boston. Rehearsal will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

CENTER BAND - Orchestra & Band Students!

Center Band is a special accommodation group for students in the magnet program who have had to drop out of Band or Orchestra for their 8th grade year due to a language requirement. This after school group is open to students who have been in a Band or Orchestra class in 6th or 7th grade. Center Band will perform at the Winter Concert on Dec. 2 at Northwest HS.

This group meets on Wednesdays until 4:30 PM. The first rehearsal is Wednesday, September 23.

YES! After-School Center Band/Orch is Coming!!

Center Band & Orchestra is BACK!
Rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 23 at 2:50 PM.
If you've been involved in the music department but can't play in band or orchestra class this year, then come join the after-school group!! It's lots of fun, you get to hang out with old friends from the music department (and reminisce of Ms. Levy's bad jokes: "homies!"), and play some fun music and perform on the Winter Concert.

This means you still have to practice, but now you don't get a grade! Woo Hoo!

Ms. Levy is expecting you to participate! :-)

See you Wednesday, Sept. 23!
