Old School is Clemente's huge rock and roll oldies show held in the Spring at Seneca Valley High School. The show involves over 400 students, alumni high school students, our elementary schools and over 75 family members! Old School brings the whole community together so don't miss out this year! This year's show, OLD SCHOOL 5: REVOLUTIONS! will be May 20 and 21, 2011.
Maestro Piotr Gajewski, Conductor of the Strathmore Philharmonic, spent three months mentoring the Clemente Orchestras on a weekly basis. The results of his investment was a "superior" rating (the highest possible) at County Festival and a tremendous love and enthusiasm for playing in the students!
Rock Band class uses contemporary instruments as part of the school curriculum! Students master an instrument, learn to collaborate in a band, and study the history of popular music and its influence on history.
Clemente Music Rocks benefit concert and silent auction at BlackRock Center for the Arts raised over $9,000 for the Roberto Clemente Community Services charity supporting enrichment activities (sports, art, music) for students!
